It's tough for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

It's challenging for their batters to hold a record if not afforded the opportunity.

Ultimately, the consequence of Australia conceding 330 was skipper Alyssa Healy being given a platform to create her latest masterpiece.

Originally famous as the young family member of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she made her debut in 2010 after her country failed to win either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has experienced everything through 15 championship-filled years since.

A T20 championship victory happened three months after her first appearance and seven global championships have resulted from 10 tries across formats.

That loss "drove us to rethink our standards," Healy said this week.

At the following one-day championship in New Zealand, Healy scored 170 against England in the final and was declared player of the series. She guaranteed her country would not come up short.

Whether this recent magnificent innings exceeded that prior achievement can be debated.

Some will argue the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Some might respond with the test that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's clear is this ton was far harder to see coming.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 happened while she led the batting statistics, but this innings came after six matches in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've observed me in the nets, it was a frustrating experience because it seemed I've had no rhythm at all," said Healy.

"However when you take the field, your competitive nature take over and you completely engage with the match."

Healy's fighting spirit has consistently been her major advantage - and a priceless quality in taking over from iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, out to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but this time it merely gave Healy's motivation.

"An opportunity to go out there and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was dismissed her side required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the last rival teams at this World Cup want to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will win from any position has become more firm - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
